Powering Up e DVR For e First Time

e default settings of the 4200 series DVR will allow the DVR to begin recording in continuous mode aer

all the hardware has been installed and the unit is powered on. e steps below will walk you through setting

the date and time for your unit.

Aer making all connections to the DVR, turn on the DVR by pushing the on/o button located on the front

panel of the DVR. e system will go through a series of self diagnostics and check disk aer which, will

bring up the main screen.

Default User Name and Password

Click the right mouse button or press the menu button on the front panel or remote controller. is will

bring up the log in screen. e system default user is administrator and the password is 1234. Input the pass-

word 1 2 3 4 and select OK. See image below.
